Services:
Scouting aims to encourage the physical, intellectual, social,
and spiritual development of young people so they may play a
constructive role in society as responsible citizens and as members
of their local and international communities. Strong and active
programs help to inspire young people to do their best and to always
be prepared. The different scouting levels include Joey Scouts (aged
5-8); Cub Scouts (aged 8-11); Scouts (aged 11-15); Venturers (aged
15-18) and Rovers (aged 18-25).
Volunteering Opportunities:
Adult leaders interested in working with young people.
Personal qualities/skills/ experience/qualifications:
Caring adults with an interest in the outdoors. Looking to mentor,
train and support young people
Training, trials and checks
Adult leaders require a Working with Children and Police check. All
training is provided – volunteer to support Committee, support
committee fundraising and support leader.
