Volunteer with Community Connect

Want to meet great people, give back, and feel more connected?
Whether you’ve got five minutes or five hours, there’s a place for you on our team.

At Community Connect South Shoalhaven (CCSS), we make volunteering simple, flexible, and meaningful. From welcoming locals at an event to writing a short story, every small action makes a big difference.

We support you with friendly onboarding, optional training, and flexible opportunities that match your interests. Whether you’re newly retired, new to the area, or just keen to help—we’d love to have you on board.

Together, we’re building a stronger, more connected South Shoalhaven—one conversation, photo, or smile at a time.

💡 VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES
You can get involved in any of these ways:
• Help host community events (welcoming, setup, displays)
• Write or edit stories and blogs about local people or happenings
• Share your skills in small training sessions or resource tips
• Assist newcomers or retirees to connect with local groups
• Snap photos of community events
• Spread the word about CCSS in your networks
• Support our annual Community Expo (communication, set-up, greeting guests, creative display work)

Choose what fits your interests and time—you don’t have to do it all!

“Volunteering connects hearts, builds skills, and strengthens communities—one act of kindness at a time.”
