Community Connect South Shoalhaven is shaking up our community catch-ups! We’ve heard your feedback – you want to keep connecting with other groups and volunteers, but you want more in depth facts and discussions on local issues that really matter.
For 2026, we’re are looking at introducing 3 key offerings:
Themed Community Workshops / Discussions:
Several times per year we will host in-depth sessions centered around themes chosen by our community. We invite local groups to co-host these events with us to help shine a light on the issues that really matter to our volunteers, groups and the community we serve. You can join us to have your say, or just to hear directly from those involved.

Social Networking Events
Continued connection – we will maintain our regular social gatherings. We’re seeking input from community groups / orgs on what elements to include and how to best design these events, as well as suggestions on locations and timing. Want to host a gathering or have a suggestion – we are all ears!
Community Expo
We look forward to hosting our 5th Community Expo on Thurs 10th of Sept. The format will be similar to 2025 with opportunities to connect with potential volunteers, youth, and other groups with a bit of fun mixed in too
