The Foundation for Rural & Regional Renewal (FRRR) has launched an exciting new initiative for not-for-profit organisations across the South Coast of NSW—from Nowra to Moruya. South Coast Futures (SCF) is a three-year program, funded by the Snow Foundation, designed to strengthen the resourcing, capacity, sustainability, and impact of local community organisations.
Building on the success of FRRR’s Investing in Rural Community Futures (IRCF) program, SCF takes a regional approach to support NFPs to lead change, foster resilience, and create lasting impact in their communities.
The program offers more than just grant funding. Participating organisations will also have access to wrap-around supports and capacity-building workshops tailored to their needs.
How the Grants Work
SCF will provide funding through three key streams:
- Quick Response Grants – for immediate support and small-scale projects.
- Collaborative and Capacity Building Grants – to strengthen organisational capacity and encourage collaboration.
- Partnership Grants – for Backbone & Connector Organisations, offering up to $40,000 per year over the three-year life of the program.
