Apprenticeships, Traineeships and Career Pathways in the Spotlight

Published By

Young people, parents, carers and community members are being invited to a free community information evening focused on apprenticeships, traineeships and local career pathways.

From Interest to Industry will take place on Tuesday 2 June from 3pm–7pm at the Dunn Lewis Centre in Ulladulla, bringing together employers, training providers, support organisations and industry representatives to help make career pathways feel clearer and more accessible for local young people.

The event is designed for young people aged 15–25, as well as the parents, carers and community members supporting them, whether they already have a career pathway in mind or are just beginning to explore their options.

Attendees will have the opportunity to meet local employers, apprenticeship support providers, training organisations and youth services in an informal and welcoming environment, with plenty of opportunities to ask questions and have real conversations about work, training and next steps.

The evening will feature exhibitor displays, practical information and one-on-one conversations with people who understand apprenticeships, traineeships, training pathways and the local workforce landscape.

Organisations attending include local businesses, Group Training Organisations, Registered Training Organisations, Training Services NSW, Australian Defence Force Careers, apprenticeship support providers and youth and community support organisations.

A free sausage sizzle provided by the Rotary Club of Milton-Ulladulla will run from 4.30pm–6.30pm.
