Youthstock to showcase the South Coast’s next generation of local music

Published By

A brand-new youth-led music festival is set to take over the Dunn Lewis Centre this August, giving emerging young musicians the opportunity to perform on a professional stage while celebrating creativity, leadership and community.

Youthstock, presented by the Youth Music Network, will be held on Saturday 15 August 2026 from 4.00pm to 8.00pm at the Dunn Lewis Centre in Ulladulla.

Featuring five talented local acts, Village Drive, Kick Static, Rusty & The Bucketheads, Teal Douglas and The Barefooted Strays, the festival promises an afternoon of live music, original performances and community connection.

Unlike a traditional concert, Youthstock has been planned and organised by young people, giving them valuable experience in event management, leadership and the music industry while creating an exciting live music event for the wider community. The festival celebrates original music, emerging artists and the creative talent thriving across the Shoalhaven.

Program Manager Gemma Hart from the Dunn & Lewis Youth Development Foundation said Youthstock is about creating opportunities for young people to lead, connect and showcase their talents.

“Youthstock is more than just a live music event. It’s about giving young people a platform to perform, build confidence and be part of something they have helped create. We’re incredibly excited to celebrate the amazing talent we have here in our community and invite everyone to come along and support the next generation of local musicians.”

Youthstock is an all-ages, alcohol-free event, welcoming families, friends, music lovers and the broader community to experience an afternoon of live entertainment in a safe and inclusive environment.

Youth entry is free, while adult (18 years and over) tickets are just $10, with proceeds supporting future youth music opportunities through the Youth Music Network.

The event is proudly supported by the Dunn & Lewis Youth Development Foundation, Milton Ulladulla Entertainers and the ANZ Seeds of Renewal Program.
