New Funding Opportunities: Active Regional Communities Package
There’s some exciting momentum building for community organisations across NSW, with the State Government launching two new funding streams under the Active Regional Communities (ARC) Package.
These opportunities are all about strengthening participation, connection and wellbeing in our communities — and they’re well worth a look for local groups, councils and collaborators.
1. Community Participation (Stream 2)
With grants ranging from $100,000 to $1,000,000, this stream is designed to support larger-scale projects that increase liveability and social cohesion through greater participation in community activities. Open to local government and not-for-profits, this is a strong opportunity for partnerships and place-based initiatives that bring people together.
🗓 Closes: 1 May
2. Local Priorities (Stream 3)
Offering $10,000 to $100,000, this stream is focused on supporting not-for-profit organisations to expand existing programs and activities that contribute to community wellbeing and participation — socially and economically. It’s a great fit for grassroots projects ready to grow their impact.
🗓 Closes: 22 May
Together, these streams reflect a growing recognition of the importance of connected, inclusive and active communities.
If you’re considering an application — or exploring a collaborative idea — now is the time to start the conversation.
