About Anglicare Disaster Recovery – Ulladulla

Be the Hope

When disasters like bush fires, floods and cyclones happen, it’s only natural to want to lend a hand, to support communities and families.  By becoming a Disaster Recovery Volunteer you can do just that!

As a registered Disaster Recovery Volunteer, you’ll play a vital role in bringing hope and support to those in need during a disaster.

Based around your availability, you’ll have the opportunity to provide personal support and distribute essential emergency supplies to people affected by disasters.

Working alongside your Team Leader and other disaster response agencies you’ll help ensure that your local Evacuation or Recovery Centre operates smoothly, making a real difference in your community.

Volunteering doesn’t have to be a regular commitment.  You can stay prepared by participating in short courses each year, along with practical drills, seminars, and other training opportunities – ensuring you are always ready to step in when you’re needed most.  Begin your journey whenever you’re ready!
