With more than 100 local groups, live entertainment, food and plenty to discover, there’s a lot happening at Community Expo. It’s completely free, you don’t need to register, and you can drop in anytime between 9.45am and 2pm.
Here’s how to make the most of your visit.
Start with a wander
Take your time exploring more than 100 community groups, clubs and organisations from across the South Shoalhaven.
You might discover a new hobby, find somewhere to volunteer, learn about support available locally, meet people who share your interests or stumble across a group you never knew existed.
You don’t need to arrive knowing what you’re looking for. Come curious and see what you find.
Stop and enjoy the entertainment
There’ll be performances happening throughout the day, including Bunaan Yandabal Dance, Tira Motu Dance, Miribi Bunbal Didge, local musicians Kalea McGregor and Michelle McBride, plus musical talent from Ulladulla High School students.
So grab a seat, take a break from exploring and enjoy some of the talent in our community.
Grab a cuppa or something to eat
Make a day of it with tea, coffee, water and biscuits from Dunn Lewis, food from the Milton Ulladulla Soup Kitchen or a Lions Club sausage sizzle — all available for a gold coin donation.
Discover our community’s superpowers
Pick up a Superpowers Bingo card and turn your wander around Expo into a bit of a challenge.
As you explore, you’ll be encouraged to meet different groups, start conversations and discover some of the many skills, passions and “superpowers” people bring to our community.
It’s a fun way to venture beyond the groups you already know – and you might just make a new connection along the way.
Come for half an hour or stay for a few hours. Wander, chat, play Bingo, grab something to eat and see what you discover.
