Food For Thought: Growing Together This Spring!

This spring, Growing Together South Coast is inviting locals to dig in, connect, and learn new ways to live more sustainably through the Food For Thought program — a free seven-week series made possible thanks to funding from Shoalhaven City Council.

Designed to nurture both personal wellbeing and the health of the planet, Food For Thought explores practical, hands-on ways to live more lightly on the earth while growing your own food, creating thriving habitats, and reconnecting with nature.

Over seven weeks, participants will dive into a range of topics including:

  • Raising seeds and starting your garden from scratch
  • Sustainable gardening techniques
  • Growing fruit and vegetables
  • Composting and soil health
  • Natural building methods
  • Creating habitat gardens
  • Herbs and useful plants
    …and more!

Whether you’re new to gardening or already have dirt under your nails, Food For Thought is a great opportunity to meet others who care about sustainable living, share ideas, and learn from experienced local facilitators.

🌱 Places are limited — only 20 spots are available, so early expressions of interest are encouraged.
