Connect
Community Connect SS is focused on building connections across community groups and volunteers, enabling easier communication and collaboration while reducing redundant efforts. By facilitating connections, we aim to create a network of groups that share common goals and can work together to achieve them. By reducing competition and increasing cooperation, community events and initiatives will be more sustainable, impactful, and resilient.
Share
Community Connect SS is committed to promoting resource sharing and collaboration on funding opportunities. Through our platform, community groups can access shared resources, such as event materials, meeting spaces, or equipment, which allows them to operate more cost-effectively. We also help groups pool resources to attract larger grants and funding support, enabling them to make a bigger difference with limited funds.
Support
Training and skill-building are essential for growth and effectiveness in any organisation. We’re dedicated to sourcing affordable and relevant training opportunities for local groups, covering everything from leadership development and grant writing to digital skills and volunteer management. Through local partnerships and negotiated discounts, we’re ensuring that volunteers and groups have the support they need to excel in their roles.
Enhance
We believe that increased visibility and awareness are critical to the success of any community initiative. By improving information sharing and fostering local awareness, we help put community efforts in the spotlight. From public meetings to regular updates, our goal is to keep the community informed and engaged, shining a light on the positive contributions of our volunteers and groups to inspire further involvement.
