Milton Ulladulla & Districts Compassionate Community

About Milton Ulladulla & Districts Compassionate Community

The Milton Ulladulla Districts (MUD) Compassionate Community is a grass-roots, community driven and volunteer-led initiative.

Our Purpose:

To inspire and enable the Milton Ulladulla Districts community to share responsibility for caring, so that no one experiences dying, death, caring or grief alone.

Our Vision:

To weave compassion, collaboration and connection into the Milton Ulladulla Districts Community as we live, die, grieve and care about each other.

Our Goals:
o   To prioritise a human centred approach to care, that fosters emotional connection and reduces isolation and loneliness.
o   To improve “death literacy” so that caring, dying, death and grieving are part of everyday conversations.
o   To empower, educate, and mobilise compassionate community support networks
