About Milton Ulladulla Historical Society Inc.

Milton Ulladulla Historical Society is concerned with the preservation of information and objects relating to the history of the Milton Ulladulla District. These include artefacts, photographs, films, audio files and documents. It is a keeping place and a resource for information on the area. The Society doesn’t have a museum, but provides objects for display at various exhibitions held in the area. The collection is currently being photographed for uploading onto eHive which will make the objects available for all to enjoy. MUHS holds meetings and talks and provides walking tours and excursions to places of historical significance.

The MUHS Collection covers the industrial, commercial, agricultural and timber industry history of the Milton Ulladulla District, as well as the pioneering families which settled there from the 1830s. It stretches from Bendalong in the north to South Durras in the south and west to Brooman.
Our collection includes photographs, paintings and engravings, documents, maps, timber and dairy industry objects, and domestic objects.
