Join us for a free workshop on Emergency/Disaster Preparedness on Wed 22 Nov at 10:30am at Ulladulla Library.
Based on its Emergency community education program, the Red Cross EmergencyRedi workshop assists people to reduce the personal disruption caused by events such as bushfires, floods and other emergencies. Using the RediPlan resource, participants will work through the steps of creating a personal/household plan to support them if and when an emergency occurs.
The workshop will cover:

• What is preparedness?
• Why it is important to be prepared for emergencies
• Preparing your mind for emergencies
• How to assess your own risks and capacities
• How to prepare your household for an emergency
• Guidance on completing your own emergency RediPlan
• Other ways you can take action to prepare yourself, your household and your community
